35mm Film Portraits

As a photographer, working with film is incredibly satisfying as more attention to detail needs to be paid when composing shots and working with lighting. The development process is a magical experience and prints acquired from this process have a vintage aesthetic and depth to them that sets them apart from digital photography. I use 35mm black and white film for these images. My preferred film being Ilford FP4 as this creates high contrast tones in the black and white images, which is perfect for both studio and location photoshoots.
